Hey everybody! Day #16 of my 2015 UK & Ireland Tour and for this food challenge I’m at Burger Parlour in Barrow-in-Furness, England (Cumbria). Here I’ll be taking on their XL Black Combe Burger Challenge which comes with a lot more items than just a burger!!

Description & Rules (from their website)

Our XL Black Combe Burger is 3 x 6oz patties of Cumbrian beef topped with melted gooey aged Cheddar cheese, bacon, lettuce, red onion, tomato, onion rings, hash browns & black pudding with fries, coleslaw & cheese covered nachos plus a 9 inch Cumber Dog on the side.

Terms and conditions (THE RULES)

1. Only one challenge table can operate at one time within the restaurant.
2. The BP challenge must be pre-booked and paid for in full on arrival.
3. Participants must be 18 or over to take part in the challenge.
4. One person per one challenge – maximum of 2 challenges can run concurrently on the same table.
5. Accompanying parties at the table must order at least one main course per person.
6. To win the challenge and receive the meal for FREE it must be eaten within 45 minutes.
7. A finished meal constitutes a completely clear board or plate.
8. The participant may not leave the table until the challenge is complete or the challenge is deemed void.
9. If the participant finishes the meal they receive a winners t-shirt, be featured on our websites’s wall of fame and refunded in full.
10. If the challenge is deemed by management to have been failed by the intended participant, the full price of the meal will be retained.
11. Management reserve the right to refuse service.
12. If the Burger, Cumber Dog, Cheesy Nachos & homemade fries is shared, the challenge is void and £27.50 (full price) will be retained.
13. Successful participants may not retake the challenge for 6 months.
